I read all the twilight books (for several reasons). I actually enjoyed the "love" story. But I also wanted to be knowledgeable so I could discuss the books with kids that DID read them. I watched Twilight on DVD with my girls (they really wanted to watch it)-that way I could explain it to them (what was REALLY happening!). I realized, however, that when you read a book, you can "picture" the parts you want to and NOT the parts you don't. But if you go to the movies, you can't! I made the decision NOT to watch New Moon (or any others). My girls have not expressed any interest in watching them either. It's amazing how kids will listen when you explain your reasons!

Thanks for the idea...while I have a set number goal I don't have a list, maybe I'll make a short one.

And Great List! I loved "It" and "Communicating for a Change" I'd start with those...though "It" took a bit longer to read.

I haven't read Twilight. If I ever decide to read it....I will have to do so secretly because I would never be able to handle the ridicule from Jonathan!

Thanks. I usually buy books a few weeks within hearing about them... but often they sit in line to be read. Some of the books on this list have been there for more than a year. 2010's the year baby!

You have a lot of good books there that I have read and enjoyed.

I can not usually build a wish list of reads, because I usually get them done within a short time of knowing about them. Good job though of having a list and direction of reading.
