NOTHING trumps experience.

I frequently talk to people in ministry who are stuck. They’ve hit their lid at their current church and getting to what next is proving to be harder than they had hoped. Often times the reason is that they can’t make the jump is because they don’t have the right kind of experience. They’re seen as a gamble because they haven’t led at the level of the church they want to work at. If that’s you or if that’s someone you know, I have a solution.

Come spend a year working for my team at Gateway Church through our Leadership Development Program.

Last year we launched our Leadership Development Program and it has been AMAZING. LDP’s work on our NextGen team both as observers and as practitioners. They’re considered part of the team. They engage in staff meetings, planning and have significant responsibilities (not just the jobs staff doesn’t want to do). However, our Leadership Development Program has a specific development track just for them. They’re part of an LDP life group, special classes taught by key church leaders and special LDP trips/retreats.

At the end of this experience (an entire year), LDP’s will have incredible experience working at an innovative/leading church. They’ll have the right kind of experience, including great references. What’s great about the Gateway NextGen Leadership Development Program is that it’s one of the best NextGen environments in the country. Gateway has had an integrated Family Ministry model for nearly eight years and LDP’s will get age-specific ministry experience within the context of an integrated family ministry. NextGen/Family ministry is a rapidly developing/growing area and there are few churches where you can get this kind of experience giving you a very unique advantage.
