Drinking from a fire hydrant

So, Orange 2010 is officially over now. Unfortunately, I’m not even done blogging my experiences from the first day. More than any other year, Orange has been like drinking from a fire hydrant. Creative ideas and challenges from breakouts. Powerful message content from the main stage. Incredible people to meet and talk to in the hallways. Early mornings and late nights hanging out with staff and friends. On top of all of this, my brain is running at 100 MPH thinking about all the things I’ve learned and want to process.

That’s why I’m about two days behind.

Don’t worry, I’ll catch up. I’m not going home until Monday morning, so I should wrap up all my Orange posts before Monday morning. However, I’m sure you’ll be reading Orange inspired thoughts from me in the near and distant future.

My hat is off to the reThink group for another amazing conference (and I don’t even wear hats). It was that good!

    You are some sort of blogging machine. I’m in the process of compiling Orange blog posts for this month’s Children’s MInistry Blog Patrol. When I got to this one I laughed out loud. “…not not even done blogging my experiences from the first day” I went back and counted 11 posts before this one.

    Thanks for all the info. Not be able to go this year, I feel like I’m left lapping up some puddles from the firehydrant, but I’ll take what I can get!

    I love this post! The picture is so appropriate. I didn’t even get to sit down with you and chat more. I looked for you Thursday afternoon after some good time with Gina Mc. It was a crazy (and super fun) week. I am sitting at my computer working through my “To Do” list now and you are on it! In the meantime, Orange was truly awesome. Thanks for introducing me to so many really cool people (who have great hearts by the way!).
