I am not certain that trust is meaningful in terms of God's relationship with us. We certainly must put our trust in God, but God knows everything that we think and do. Trust seems to imply an unknown (as in "I trust that he will do such and such"). To the extent that God knows everything, is he really in a position where he has to, or even can, trust us? That said, he certainly does entrust us with blessings, gifts, talents, personalities etc. As a worker in Children's Ministry, he entrusts me with his children.
