So if I don’t clamor for a Wave invite is that bad? Or am i just Evilllll, mwhaaaaaaaaaaaaa! No really. I looked at it, and it seems interesting, but not exciting. I guess it is cooler in person than on video? Let me know.

Karen, I did take a little blogging break a few weeks ago. However, it wasn’t necessarily becasue I was too busy. It was the result of a few factors. I was trying to catch up on some other things I was behind in, but I was also taking time out to read a few books I’d been wanting to read (nothing ministry or spiritual at all… just for fun). I also felt a little uninspired. Happens from time to time. There were a few times where I opened up the blog to start typing and decided against it. Although I have the occasional fluff post, I’d prefer my content to be valuable.

I’m really not the best at time management (getting better), but I try to make the time for the things I enjoy. Blogging for me is very inspirational. I love it. I love sharing ideas, developing ideas and connecting with others. I won’t do ministry without it again, so I can’t let myself get too busy to blog and network, otherwise I feel that it will lessen my impact.

Okay, I guess I needed to clarify. I’m going to randomly pick from the people who’ve previously commented on my blog… and have indicated on this post that they want one. For the additional invites I have to give away, I’ll also randomly select people who have commented on this post. Although I am enjoying the sucking up… you really don’t have to. Ha! It’s been funny though.

Although, I think Chris Chancey’s comment has made me feel a little uncomfortable.

I’m gong to do what I can to get as many invites out as possible.

I’d love a Wave invite, but I won the Think Orange book, so it’s cool if someone else gets it. I love technology and love to see how it can be used to improve what we do. BUT at this time, I’m spending too much time on FB instead of focusing on what I need to focus on. Does anyone else ever feel like that and how do you deal? Kenny, I know you took a break from blogging recently – did it help? Is it a matter of discipline?

Oh that’s a good one Kenny. That’s way better than a free book give-away and maybe even as good as Catalyst tickets (since even if you win you gotta pay to get there). Very cool. Surely I’ve commented in the last 6 months at least a few times.

Why do I want a Google Wave invite in 75 words or less single spaced?

- When I first saw Kenny Conley’s RT on Twitter for Googlewaves I copied him. When he first came to Gateway and was Mr. Blogger, Facebooker, Twitter, TECHNOLOGY. I thought it was a little too much. But one by one I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and turns out he’s on to something. So rather than just being a skeptic this time I just figured if Kenny wanted to wave…it was the new thing and I wanted to wave too. Since then I have been reading about it, obsessing about, and I MUST wave. Please please please pick me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
