Fixing Facebook

I love a good hack. Facebook’s a pretty incredible application, but it’s not perfect. Sometimes the best way to fix an application is to let someone else other than the original creator have a go at it. Last night I discovered a little thing called Facebook Fixer and I think I’m in love.
Facebook Fixer is a script (or underscript rather) that causes web pages to do things they’re weren’t intended to do. Don’t get intimidated, it’s easier to do than you think.
Depending on what browser you’re using, you may need to enable your browser to run underscripts. Click here for a listing of browsers and what you need to do. I use both Firefox and Chrome. For Firefox I had to install the GreaseMonkey add on and Chrome didn’t require anything as it natively allows underscripts.… Read the rest
