This being the fourth year for the Orange Conference, the ReThink group is looking to see more people than ever before. There’s no doubt that the Orange strategy along with ReThink curriculum and resources are making an impact in today’s church. You can help make that impact grow. If you haven’t yet registered, you really should. Regardless though, you can spread the word. Add an “Orange” badge to you website, blog or wherever your home is on the interwebs just like this one to the right. Click here to get your own badge, big or small.

I’m registered for Orange 2010
Posted on 13. Jan, 2010 by Kenny.
Yesterday I registered for the Orange Conference 2010! Due to a lot of reasons, I’m only taking a small group to this year’s conference, probably just my Children’s Pastors. Looks like I’m going to reprise my role in the lounge for bloggers, so I’m really excited about that. This will be by third year at Orange and I’m expecting great things. Just curious, who else is coming to Orange this year? Hoping to meet many more new ministry friends.
Mmmmm, thinking about the second annual Orange Tweetup… but this calls for something creative (gears actively turning). I’ll get back to you on this.

Dallas Leader’s Forum
Posted on 02. Mar, 2009 by Kenny.
I was invited to attend the Dallas Leader’s Forum today. Yeah, I’m not really that close to Dallas anymore, but I’m eating this stuff up.
Reggie Joiner is leading a discussion on Family Ministry and how church staff can best connect with each other, volunteers, parents, the community, and other like-minded churches.
Yeah, why would I not want to be there? I’m looking forward to growing in this area and connecting with some people I don’t know… but want to!
By the time this post goes live, I’ll be at the forum. I’m sure I’ll twitter/blog all that I expereince.

I’ve got an orange on my head!
Posted on 26. Feb, 2009 by Kenny.
You’re probably asking, “now, why do you have an Orange on your head?”
If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time or if you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that I’m a big fan of the Orange Philosophy of ministry. I started learning about Orange a year ago and everything culminated when I attended the Orange Conference. When it comes to ministry, it’s changed the way I think about everything.
So, that didn’t really answer the question. Yes, I love the ReThink Group, their curriculum and resources. I’m very excited to attend the Orange Conference again in a months. However, I believe in what they’re doing and I want to spread the word. If you’re an Orange newbie, you owe it to yourself to learn more about Orange. Search “Orange” on this blog and you’ll find dozens of posts about Orange, resources and my notes from the conference. If you’re on Twitter, you should follow the Orange Conference. They’re pumping out all kind of information and hype about what is coming.
Actually, the Orange Conference is trying to build it’s followers base. In the next week, they want to have 1000 followers. If they can do that, they’re going to run a 1 day $50 off sale to Orange. That’s free money in your pocket! So, go here and follow the Orange Conference. Not on twitter? Go here and sign up. Then go here and follow the Orange Conference.
So, I’ve put an orange on my head on my twitter account and have an obnoxious background coverered in oranges. Check it out here. When the Orange Conference amasses 1000+ followers, I’ll take this silly orange off my face… maybe.
