Hey Ya’ll! Kenny and I had an interesting discussion and I thought I would post here. As I read blogs of friends and strangers, I notice a lot of people aren’t comfortable putting their kids’ real names on the net yet. They use alias names for their kids or abbreviations. I’m not sure how many parents would be comfortable having tweets about their kids for all to read. Kenny suggested a password protected site to alleviate any concerns. Love that idea.

Yeah, that’s pretty easy. Google “twitter badges” and you can embed a twitter badge on a webpage or wherever so parents can just go to a webpage and read tweets. Good point about cell coverage. Depends on the camp. I’ve been at some that had decent coverage and others that didn’t.

Kenny do you know a way for parents who don’t twitter can read your tweets w/o having to sign up. Also Cell coverage at camp what’s that?

Hey! Glad I could help! I really just stumbled upon this idea, I figured I was using Twitter to let people know about what was going on in my life so why not just translate it to ministry. It was a huge hit with the parents!
