We just had a handful of these dropped off at the church. It’s a dramatized Gospel of John. It’s a teaser CD set for the entire New Testament set they’re selling. What’s different about this one? It’s narrated by Annasophia Robb, Corbin Bleu, Emily Osment, Cody Linley, Sean Astin, Jordan Sparks and others. Max Lucado does the book introduction. I think this is pretty cool. So many of our kids are realy into these actors and eat up anythign they do. If it’s a dramatized version of the Bible, then that may mean thousands of kids who start listenting to the Bible because their favorite actor is reading it. For our church kids who are already reading the Bible, this may be a fun supplement for them as well. I’m curious as to what others think. Where do you stand? Great idea? Horrible idea?
