Okay, this weekend I’ve been upgrading my blogs and doing various maintenance. I upgraded to the most recent wordpress build for my personal blog and I actually don’t mind it at all. Karl Bastian had some pretty mean things to say about it as it seems to have caused a lot of frustrations for his blog. 🙂 So, I decided to leave this blog alone… for now. Instead, I found a REALLY COOL plugin that make the admin page TONS better, so it’s like I got a new build anyway.
However (I’m getting to the point), I did find an upgrade to my theme I’ve been using. I love it becasuse it gives me an extra side bar. That’s HUGE for me. The only problem is that I can’t decide what arrangement I like. Tell me what you think (I’ve already got an opinion) as it might help me finalize my decision.
Current Layout: (obvioulsy… you’re on it right now.)

I’d go with the middle one – feels more balanced and easy on the eyes.
Middle gets my vote!
I am just now getting around to ready blogs. I took 5 days off and you changed your theme. I do like the 3 columns. Big fan of 3 over 2. I am not trying to be difficult but I really do like the right side a lot better than the middle. I think it lets the reader focus their attention more on what they are looking for. For example if I wanted to just read your post I am not distracted as much with the right side design as I am with the middle design. If I want to find out about your twitter, cmconnect, books, ect then It flows better with the right side design than with the middle design. Now of course I read your blog through Google Reader and rarely come to it so take the advice from someone who rarely sees your layout.
